We had a vet appointment today. I posted about my little girl that had the
smell, well it turns out she has an inner ear infection, nothing major or
even noticeable upon external inspection, but he believes that may be our
source!

The bad news or reason for real concern is my albino boy, Sid. The vet was
only able to locate a single kidney and that one was enlarged. I am lucky
and thankful to be living within close range of Anna Edling, and will be
making an appointment for an ultrasound with her. My vet feels that this
may be a genetic defect and he was born with only one kidney and the other
has enlarged to handle functions for both. We are going in for an
ultrasound to confirm or try to figure out what is happening. My question
is if anyone else has ever come across this? Sid is large, active,
healthy, a big happy lump of a fuzz. He came from a rescue over a year
ago and is less than 2 years old. Nothing abnormal in urination or feces,
eats like a little piggy.

Any experience or suggestions. I am being positive that this is just a
fluke genetic defect, but..... By the way, he is a Triple F fuzz.

Thanks for any help/suggestions anyone may have.
