Yes, I have a little guy named Monster who loves to steal and hide anything
that isn't too heavy for him to carry.  (Doesn't sound like heavy things
stop Manny!) Monsters favorite things to steal are my shoes.  He
particularly likes my black dress shoes.  He likes to put them behind the
couch and loveseat.  Once he's done with those shoes he takes others and
off behind the couch he goes (making sure to put them in the middle so it's
difficult to get them out).
 
One of his other all time favorites is toilet paper rolls.  As soon as he
gets out of his cage for play time he will run to each bathroom, dump the
garbage can, take any paper rolls he can find and then he runs under the
couch and somehow manages to get them in a little cubby hole inside the
couch (this can sometimes take him a long time - but he loves it!).  The
fun thing to do is to take out all the toilet paper rolls from his hiding
place, put them in the middle of the floor and watch him desperately put
each and every one back to it's hiding place.  I don't throw them away
because he has so much fun and he looks so darn cute doing it.
 
Our other ferret, Bailey, has been caught taking things too.  The funniest
thing ever was when she took off with a wallet and hid it behind the couch.
 
Whenever I can't find something, I blame it on the ferrets, and I am
usually right!!
