Wanted to thank everyone for your suggestions on the ferretone.  I did
email the 8 in 1 company and gave them the lot number that was on the
bottle, and also what appeared to be an expiration date, and am waiting
to hear back from them.  A little while after Sammy developed diarrhea,
Max did too, but hadn't at the time I had posted yesterday.  Will let
everyone know what 8 in 1 says about it when I hear back from them.
