I have tried all kinds of litter over the years. I have used the
Yesterdays News, the wood pellets and just plain newspaper.

I liked the newspaper and my ferrets learned to use just layers of flat
newspaper, but I always worried about the ink and getting enough of it
was always a chore. Sometimes I would go out in the dark and take it
from other people's recycling bins which is actually illegal!

Now I use the dog training pads. No dust, no ink, no raiding bins.
