I have only seen a couple of chordomas over the years and have been
able to have them succesfully removed. Gizmo the 3rd however was an
exception. Two weeks after the chordoma was removed along with a part
of his tail, a new one returned on his tail. At this point the vet no
longer thought it was a chordoma but an aggressive strain of cancer. I
shuddered at the thought of what might happen after the next surgery
that removed the remainder of his poor little tailio . Sure enough,
only a couple weeks after the last of his tail was removed, the lumps
started to appear all over his hind end and he passed within the month
quietly in his sleep. Has anyone seen this before?
