Thank you very much to those of you who expressed concern about Lexie. She is
now back home and looking much much better. We are pretty sure it is
insulinoma and she is now on .08 mg of prednisone 2 x per day. She goes back
in for another blood test next week to make sure all is progressing as it
should. She's got a little bald patch on one of her front legs where the I.V.
went in. Poor little girl. I read from another poster that the pred had
stopped working on your ferret. I hope you find something that works. My
thoughts are with you. I hope this works for Lexie for a long time.

BTW, BIG, you are definitely right. Her glucose of 52 was extremely low and
the 60 the doctor mentioned was something she hoped to reach with medication
but still in the insulinoma range.
