Hi everyone! I wrote in the other day about my Squeak and his adrenal
problem. I didn't know whether I should seek the surgery with his heart
skipping beats like it does. My current vet seemed to think he'd do ok
with the surgery. So we "bit the bullet" and I took him in for surgery
early this morning. The vet calls back later on in the morning and
tells me we have a very large left (whew)adrenal in a bottle for me.
It went well. I should call later in the afternoon to see how things
were and maybe I could pick him up today.

Well I called up later and found out the little stinker was pulling his
staples out so the vet had to suture him shut! Because of that Squeak
gets to go home with the vet tonight instead of with me because he has
to be watched more closely. I should have known. This ferret, when he
was feeling better, was always into everything and jumping from here to
there. I've never had a ferret like this guy before. I'd have to watch
moving anything around on the floor because he use it as a step and
jump where he wasn't suppose to. But you know I am sooooo relieved he
made it through the surgery. I couldn't sleep for days knowing he might
"die on the table". Anyway, I am so glad he is ok.

Susan (sleepy)
Honey (where is my buddy?)
Squeak (what day put these metal thingys in my tummy for? I don't
want em)
