Well list, I witnessed my first ferret tantrum yesterday. I didn't realize
how mad a ferret could get! There are 4 rooms in our house; one bedroom
(off-limits to ferrets); one laundry room (off-limits to ferrets); one
bathroom (on-limits except when rats are in this room); and the living
room/dining room/kitchen area where the ferrets live. The three smaller
rooms all have doors in the one hallway. My husband called me over to
distract Patch while he transferred clothing from the laundry room to the
bedroom. Upon realizing that the two forbidden doors were open, Patch
tried (in vain) to scramble out of my arms. Lily played happily in the
living room, unaware of the open forbidden doors. As soon as Tovan closed
the two doors I let Patch down. He ran full speed ahead and nearly
collided with the laundry room door. Upon realizing that both doors were
closed, he started jumping and careening off the walls in a full blown FIT!
Lily came over to see what the fuss was about and was immediately tackled
and beaten by an angry Patch. Ohhh! It was so funny!
