I felt the video was amazing as to how the act could have been done.

It was a little worrisome due the "dropping" of the ferrets - they
appeared a bit startled.

Circus pet acts usually take very good care of their pets.

I used to know some people with the circus who had animal acts

But if anyone considered that cruel, what about all the other circus
animals that perform?

Isn't it cruel to make them perform as well?
