I just read a book with one of the worst representations of ferrets in
it I've ever seen.  It's called Cheater by Ken Goddard.  In it the ferret
chews on a severed hand to stay alive, tears hunks out of a man, is
abused, is abandoned, etc.  I won't go into full detail as it really
upset me but it had nothing to do with the stupid plot so I have no idea
why this idiot found it necessary to throw all this garbage in.  Don't
bother reading it or supporting any of his books if that is his idea of
ferrets.
