In regards to Marshall Farms "toe" tattoos... I e-mailed Marshall Farms
and asked the signifigance of "toe" tattoos and here's the reply I
received...
 
Dear Rene:
 
Thank you for contacting Marshall Pet Products!  Each surgeon at Marshall
Farms is assigned a toe - the tatoo indicates which surgeon performed the
descenting and neuerting surgery.
