Have you ever noticed how these things crop up in bunches? You can't
just get one sick ferret at a time. A couple of weeks ago, Riley started
showing signs of insulinoma. We started her on Pedia-pred and amoxi
drops for two weeks as prescribed. She recovered quickly, but I'm afraid
she is starting to regress. She still has plenty of energy, but she
feels lighter again. Max was having troubles with his tummy. We started
him on Carafate for one week as prescribed and he as well bounced back.
Tonight we was just laying there not wanting to play and he is making his
little burping noises. What could be the problem there? Finally, Bebe
looked fine the other day when she was playing, but today I looked down
at her and she has noticeably lost hair around her shoulders creeping to
her neck and head. Is that adrenal? The only other cases I have seen
start at the rear. I will of course be calling the doctor, but any
advice on these issues is appreciated.
