By no means is this to be interpreted as a vet-bashing post, but I have
used Stoneyfield Vet Clinic and have had some very major problems .  I
realize that this may the exception, not the rule, and I'm not going to
go into my situation here .
 
I highly recommend Dr. Lee Hankins, Springhurst Animal Hospital , 9909
Brownsboro Road, Louisville, Ky.  Phone is (502) 326-2975.  He and his
staff are exceptionally dedicated and well- versed in caring for ferrets.
 
By all means, call and ask questions.  I think you'll be impressed by
the level of knowledge, compassion, and top-notch care they exhibit.
