If all that you say is right, it is very unlikely to be ECE.  ECE presents
with bright neon green slimey mucousy poop and the incubation time is 24
to 48 hours after exposure.  It is likely just a bit of an upset and will
straighten itself out soon.  If it continues, see your vet as many things
can cause runny poops in a ferret.
