Hey everyone, here are a few tips from me:

- Keep a first aid kit. Start building it today. Here are some basic
supplies:

  Bandages, Gauze, Vetwrap and Tape
  Babyfood, A/D, electrolyte replacement
Syringes w/o (and w) needles, large feeding syringe
  Pen light
  Ointment
  Hydrogen Peroxide
  Petroleum Jelly
  Q-tips
Emergency money (I usually keep about 10-20$ in the kit)

This can come in handy, I have used mine a few times so far.

-Clean with your ferrets. Now, I have tried dozens of techniques to get
the cleaning done and I have found ONE that works lol.

Clean WITH your ferrets instead of after them. It makes it so much more
bearable and fun. I like to vaccum, pick up toys, make the bed,
clean/change the boxes and pads, etc.

-For those stuck-on piles of poop, you know the reeeally sticky, hard,
impossible to pick up ones? I have a straight edge, kind of dull knife
that I use to scrape up those poops. It helps SOOOOO much. After I
clean it up, I just spray the area with vinegar/water solution and wipe
it up.
