To Missy and Brett --

I know how you feel -- I have a 7 y.o. who has refused to eat his regular
kibble (Iams, Pro Plan, 8 in 1 Ultimate, TF) when he got bad gingivitis and
had a bad tooth. Once he had a dental cleaning and had the tooth removed
my vet said just one or two more days of soft food, then back to kibble.

Problem is, Max didn't agree. So for six more weeks I kept him on duck
soup. However, about 10 days ago I bought a box of Meow Mix and he is
now chowing down regularly. I have intentions of getting him back to his
regular diet eventually, but for now am glad he is eating.

Maybe you should try just getting a crappy store brand and trying it, to
see if he'll eat anything. Good luck!

(and their gaggle of giggling ferrets)
