My very first ferret's best playpal was a friend's 4 yr old boy. When
Matthew visited they would play chase up and down our hallway. First
Matthew would run down the hallway and Nipper would bouncily follow then
Matthew would turn and chase Nipper back up the hallway. When Matthew
would stop, Nipper would place his little paws on Matthews little feet and
look up at him as to say "hey, what's the deal, let's play!". They had a
wonderful time together. Unfortunately one night Matthew put Nipper over
the hallway barrier and Nipper went out the doggie door.... my fault, I
wasn't paying attention... and by the time I figured it out, Nipper was
long gone.

I believe that responsible parenting and companion animal care, adequate
room, time, and energy are what need to be considered, not just the age
of the child.

Allergies -
Maxim had allergies and responded well to Claritin pediatric syrup. Our
vet called a prescription in to the local pharmacy and Maxim got 0.1 of
a cc once daily.

hugs to all. tle
