Yes, my ferrets are shedding now, too.  When I pick them up, I'm covered
with little tiny hairs!  (Well, gee, Mom, we don't need those hairs any
more!) And sure enough, this morning, Esperanza sounded like she was
gagging a bit, so I started administering Laxatone (similar to Petromalt --
my ferrets all love it).
 
No, I don't think ferrets get along well with mice.  The ferret would
probably kill the mouse.
 
To the person whose ferret has insulinoma: Is it not possible to operate
to remove the tumors?
