INTRODUCING MYSELF:

Hi! I just wanted to introduce myself. I have been reading the
FML for some time via my wife (Hi, Kim!) printing them out for me.
I'm now on the net where I work so I can get them myself (yea!).
Thank you all for the wonderful stories and advice!

RE: TROY LYNN and HOW I DO IT

        Wow! :)

RE: CHRIS BERN and DESPERATE ABOUT LITTER BOXES

Our eldest ferret (Squirt) occasionally has bouts of forgetfullness
when it comes to using the litter boxes. The only thing that seems
to work is going back to "basic training" again and treating him
like a kit (i.e. supervising him closely when he's on the loose and
getting after him immediately when he "messes up" :) and rewarding
        him when he does good).

RE: KARI IN MASS and LICKING OFF AFTER SHOWERS

I don't know why they do it, but at one time or another both of
our fuzzies have liked to lick either us or the inside of the tub
after we take a shower/bath. Our eldest isn't really interested
in it anymore, but our youngest (Pippi) still seems to love it.

RE: ERIN E. HEINEMEYER and POLICY ON FERRETS IN NM

Here in New York State it costs $10 per year for a permit that
lets you keep/breed as many ferrets as you like. The permit is
from a state environmental wildlife department (I forget the
        actual departmental title).
