I would like to tell you a story. Its about a little ferret named Lilly
Bug. She has always been in a hurry. She came from a pet store of
questionable reputation, that was going to put her to sleep because
she was too little and the breeder wouldn't take her back. My daughter
Kate begged them to let us have her and at least give her a chance.
They finally did and so began a love affair between a teenage girl and
a tiny bit of fur.

Kate took care of Lilly, fed her on a schedule and loved her
unquestionably. Lilly finally got big enough to eat on her own, but she
never got very big, barely a pound. I often thought Kate should have
named her Tinkerbell because she flitted from thing to thing and never
grew up. But as life goes, Kate did grow up and got married and Lilly
was left at Grandma's because Kates husband is military and they move
a lot.

Lilly has lots of friends here to play with, her cage mates Dodger,
Scooter and Ricci and the old cat, Shoestring. Lilly has always had
two speeds fast and sleep, no in between. lol.

Today Lilly crossed over the Bridge at the age of 6. You do not have to
greet her because I am sure she crossed that bridge just like she lived
her life, fast and furious. She will be looking for her favorite
playmate, Bob who passed before her. The Rainbow Bridge will never be
the same again with the terrible two there. She passed in the arms of
her loving human, Kate.

Thank you for listening.

Kim
