I need help!! We just got our second ferret (have had the first for
8months). We decided to get the second so she would have a playmate and
friend, but she is so mad and nasty to him. I have written before about
preparing for a second ferret, but I was wondering if anyone has advise to
help cope with her territorialism and meanness. Thank goodness the new
ferret is male and older then her, so he can hold his own a bit. He is so
good natured. Even after it looked like they were playing abit she was
still screaming and nipping at him when we picked her up. Will it just
take time or is there something else we can do to help the situation. We
have them in separate cages and have let them explore each others bedding.

Any advise would be appreciated.

Thanks~ Beatrice, Mike, Piper and Buddy
