I found the easiest and cheapest way to give melatonin (about 8 hours
after sunrise if possible) is to get the plain 3 mg, now labeled 300 mcg,
tablets from WalMart, now in the Rexall brand.  No added vitamin B-6.
Cut the tablet more or less in half and crush it, then add a couple drops
of Ferretone and they lap it up.  They don't cut evenly so give a larger
piece to the males or crush and then divide it.  Crush it with anything
blunt, even the end of a 3/4 inch piece of dowel.
