Anesthesia in ferrets

    At Cornell, we used injectable (ketamine) and gas (isoflourane) for
ferrets.  We did find an increased incidence of seizures with ketamine,
though I'm not sure about the other injectables.  I prefer isoflourane,
as the safest of all options.
    I'd love to hear from the other vets on this one, cause as soon as the
law passes, I plan to start a ferret practice!!  i miss the little guys!
