Tonight on of my older babies, Rocky, was helped over to Rainbow
Bridge. Rocky was 7+ years old and had insolinoma, adrenal disease and
lymposarcoma. He had lupron shots once a month for about a year, his
last one yesterday and just had a melatonin implant a month ago. He was
a beautiful dark blaze until he lost his fur and nothing worked for him,
he remained bald but still beautiful. Two years ago he had his spleen
removed and his right adrenal and did fine until a few months ago. He no
longer wanted anything to do with food and for the past month or two, I
would lift him out of his sleep sack and put him in a poopie pan so he
could go, so he wouldn't mess his bedding because he could not get out
in time. He is no longer in pain and I hope he is reunited with his old
cagemate Bandit2 as well as my other beautiful angels that have passed
over the years, Sammy, Foxy, Bear, Bandit1, Baxter, Mylo, Addidas, Fila,
Cooper J and Sarah. This is the worst part of owning these beautiful
creatures and they truly steal more than your heart when they arrive and
leave.

Please keep Winter in your thoughts and prayers, he is at the vets
tonight on a glutose drip due to sepsis. He was anemic at one point a
couple months ago but because of the ferret vitamins I was giving him,
his color came back. He was in a seisure and was rushed to the vets.
Winter (Winta2) is over 9 years old and is a fighter. He has adrenal
disease, irritable bowel syndrome and chronic kidney failure. I am
hoping he will be ok. My vet did not seem too worried about him which
made me feel better. I know he is in good hands. Winter had a bg of
only 16 when she took it upon arrival. He was also given a shot of
glutose to help bring him around. He also had a high temp which meant
infection. I am not ready to lose him and I know he is not ready to
leave.

My sincere condolences to those who have lost a ferret. My heart is with
you.
