I am very happy to hear that Best Friends (http://www.bestfriends.org) is
opening a ferret facility!  A few months ago, I received a mailing from
them about their sanctuary.  After reading through their information and
visiting their web site, I wrote to them to ask why they didn't have a
ferret facility.  I received the reply that they had *never* had a ferret
turned in to them, but they said that they would gladly accept a ferret if
one did arrive.  Sounds like someone or something motivated them to
consider a devoted building.  The shelter sounds really wonderful, and I
sure do wish them luck.
