We have a rice box for our babies and they love it. Don't buy instant
rice because that can be harmful if they swallow it. I bought a big bag
of rice at Sam's. They have a ball in the rice box.

Re: Allergies

I believe my ferret is also suffering from allergies right now. He has
been hacking and I noticed last night that his left eye is puffy and red.
Our pollen count was really high yesterday. I have a feeling this is why
his eye is red and puffy, but I was wondering if anyone experienced this
also. I have been given him children's Benedryal, the recommended dose
for ferrets. I am hoping this will clear it up. I also wanted to ask,
just in case, if ferrets can get pink eye? I don't think this what it is
and I don't know how he would have gotten it if it is, but I just thought
I would ask.

Thanks!

Donna Stout.
