Sometimes when you think you are about to give in to being too tired
and worn out you get the wonderful Thank You cards from other ferrets
people. Reading the cards is hard because it makes me cry but then I
feel so appreciated.

Ferret sanctuaries go unnoticed by most communities. The dog and cat
rescues get all the press and attention and it sometimes seems like a
thankless task. It is usually one or two people taking care of, in our
case up to 50 ferrets or a constant 20+ at any time where most humane
societies have volunteers, helpers and paid staff. What a concept.. ha.
When I read the cards they really help my heart feel good and I thank
everyone who sent one to us and the other ferret sanctuaries.

Thank you to all the people taking care of the unwanted, neglected and
abused little fuzzies. I know that you care for them as if every single
one was our own.
