        There is no problem with Fezik having the occasional piece of dog food.
 
        Dog food is harmful only if fed as the total diet.  Dog food does not
contain taurine, so cats and ferrets that eat this as their total diet
eventually go blind as the result of retinal degeneration.
 
        But there is nothing toxic in dog food.
 
        I admit to stealing the occasional kibble myself....( i won't feed my
dogs anything I wouldn't eat myself :)  ....
