I have to share my worst bite. I currently have a hyper-active biter
ferret. In other words, when she is tired or excited, she doesn't know
her own strength and will sometimes draw blood. But she did not give me
my worst bite.

My first ferret was a lover. But near the end of her life, she was in
a lot of pain at times. We tried everything we could to make her more
comfortable. At one point, she was biting at her side, trying to get rid
of what was hurting her. She stopped just long enough for me to think
she was done, and reach in to move her. She wasn't done, and got me
instead when she reached around again. It is the only scar I have from
ferrets, and sometimes makes me miss her more, even all these years
later.

Debbie
