Here is what I have found helpful with baby wildlife who get gassy.
Fill your sink, etc. with very warm water, like for a ferret bath, and
immerse the ferret in it, up to about its armpits. While supporting the
ferret, gently massage the belly for a few minutes, basically as long
as it will let you. Repeat every hour or so. This should help after a
few times if it is just gas.
