Re Scooter's urinary "habit":
 
Did you mention in one of your posts that Scooter was a whole male?
Or am I confusing him with someone else's ferret? If Scooter is
unneutered then he is acting normal. A whole male will constantly
"dribble" urine everywhere. They use it to mark their area and
everything in it including you! This habit tapers off when they go
out of season. Neutering him will also alleviate this problem.
