I was at a Petco today and one of the kits had a huge soft lump, almost
like a small golf ball on his throat. He seemed to be okay but the lump
bothered me. The kit was put in isolation till he is seen by a vet
Saturday. Does anyone have any idea what this might be? Yes, I am
interested in this kit and will take him if he is okay. I cried when I
left the store. This particular Petco does take care of their ferrets
and they are all handled daily and socialized by their employees. I stop
in every month or so to check out the ferrets to make sure it continues.

Please, no flames about purchasing from Petco, I know it isn't the right
thing to do but I want a kit. There are no breeders in our area and for
me to be able to travel to get one is out of the question.

Please keep this little kit in your thoughts and prayers. Any ideas
greatly appreciated as to what is going on.

Hope everyone had a great and safe 4th of July.

Our sincere condolences to those of you who have lost a ferret, our
sincere sympathy. We hope any ferrets that are sick, will soon recover.
