My ferret was recently diagnosed with IDB (Irritable Bowel Disease).  Has
anyone ever experienced this with their ferrets?  Mr. Ferret was brought
in for a possible blockage a week ago.  He then had exploratory surgery
because all of his bloodwork was not conclusive at the time and they saw
something in his tummy that concerned them.  They removed a few nodules
from his pancreas and stomach - nothing cancerous.  They then found
undigested food in his belly and that was about it.
 
Can anyone suggest possible diet changes for him?  He's home as of
yesterday.  Not very happy because he is bandaged up and he can't get
around too well.  Otherwise, he's very happy to be getting all of the
attention!
 
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
