If anyone is surfing iGive for charities, please don't forget that your
very first purchase earns $10 for the charity.  There are several pet
product companies listed and I noticed that Pets.com and Petstore.com
were offering $10 off coupons on the adds on iGive.  That gives you a $10
discount and earns $10 for your charity.  MotherNature.com also offers a
first time buyers discount as well.  In any event, it doesn't matter how
much your purchase is, it could be $1, it will earn $10 for your charity
so please consider making a purchase for your charity!
 
Scooby update, oh my -
Where did that tiny needy bundle of fur go?  I think he was replaced with
this hyper long heavy leaping bundle of exitement!  Scooby is doing very
well.  He has learned to 'get' the bullies and now they are backing away
from him.  They still 'get' him when he is sleeping though (little
stinkers), but the more Scooby let's them know he's not going to take it
anymore, the less they are bothering him.  And when Scooby gets going he
doesn't stop till they turn tail and run.  I still put Scooby in the front
bedroom when I'm away since I would never forgive myself if they hurt him.
Each morning he bounces off the plexi-glass when I put him in there.  It
breaks my heart to confine him in the room but it is for his safety and he
has the oldsters in there to keep him company and a couple of them will
play with him (but only because he is relentless).
