Ferretone stains

I saw something about ferretone stains in carpet on the FML a while back
and, of course, I didn't pay attention and now I need a remedy.  Anyone
have any tips that might help?  I've already pre-treated with a spray
carpet spot remover and then used my carpet shampooer.  This helped, but
I can still see the rings.  Anyone have any helpful hints?
