There is something you can put on top of a baracade that makes it almost
impossible for your ferrets to get a toe hold to climb over and wont do
any damage to them.  Take a piece of 2.5 or 3 inch PVC pipe and cut a slot
lengthways so it will fit over the top.  It's too round and smooth for them
to grasp it.
