1) I have been trying to find a ferret vet that takes emergency calls.
So far all of the places I have called after hours refer me to an animal
emergency clinic or another. I called the various emergency clinics to
see if any had ferret specialists and was told that it depended upon who
was on duty at the time, and that at times the vet would not see a ferret!!
Well... a lot of help that would be in an emergency!!!

So, if anyone knows a vert that will at least talk to you after six pm in
case of an emergency, instead of refer you to a vet you have never seen,
and who does not have your animal's chart - PLEASE LET ME KNOW ASAP!!

2) Additionally, we have been considering getting our female kit a friend,
and my preference goes to those "unwanted christmasn gifts", so if anyone
is aware of another female kit needing a home, pleased let me know.

3) I posted a while ago about ants invading my fuzzbutt'a litterbox. This
problem is getting worse, I really don't know what to do and am afraid that
they'll bite her. Any suggestions, please???

dooks to all, Tina [log in to unmask]
