Calling all earth Angels, we need you.

The Northern Nevada Ferret Network (NNF), a 501(c)3 non-profit
organization, is committed to informing and educating the public
of the pleasures and responsibilities of owning domestic ferrets as
well as how to provide proper care for these creatures. The NNFN also
assists in the permanent placement of unwanted, abandoned, and California
confiscated ferrets through NNFN authorized shelters, rescues and foster
homes.

The Biggest Little Ferret Shelter (BLFS), is a no-kill ferret shelter
who's motto is: "No Ferret Is Denied The Right To Be A Ferret"

Together they need OUR help! Vet bills are high and surrendered
furkids have continued to grow in number. Many of the furkids recently
surrendered needed medical attention immediatly. This has put off
surgeries for many patiently waiting shelter kids.

Here is your chance to be an angel on earth and help those furkids that
are waiting for their surgeries get in and on the road to recovery.

ClubMedFerrets along with the Biggest Little Ferret Shelter, has put
up two baskets for this current raffle. The money rasied from the CMF
basket donated will be split half to the Biggest Little Ferret Shelter
and half to the CMF Emergency Fund. The basket donated by the BLFS will
be split between themselves and the Northern Nevada Ferret Network.

Please take a look!

Your dollar for a raffle ticket is one dollar towards helping shelter
kids like Buddy.

Remember Buddy?

An example of how your dollar can buy hope for surrendered furkids at
the Biggest Little Ferret Shelter.

Buddy came to the shelter on March 15th and was taken to the vet the
next day. At 9pm on the 16th, Dr. Cameron finally finished his surgery.
Buddy's adrenal tumor was 5cm and was attaching itself to the venacava.
On top of that, just putting him under was a big risk: Buddy has a heart
murmur; an x-ray was taken before the surgery and it showed his heart to
be very enlarged.

Buddy got to come back to the shelter on the afternoon of the 17th. You
would think nothing happened: he didn't bruise, he already had no hair,
and he acted like everything was just peachy. He takes his meds like a
champ, except for the heart meds which he's not fond of. Buddy acts like
nothing bothers him. He's just happy with his newly discovered sleep
sacks and ferretvite, the chicken flavored treats, the soup, and, well.
everything.

His total vet bill for that surgery was around $800, which includes the
heart meds, ultrasound, and x-ray, along with ear infection meds. There
is a great chance that his tumor will grow back. Only time will tell,
but until then, he's going to be a very happy ferret.

UPDATE: Buddy is currently in his permanent foster home, is doing rather
well and has made some ferret friends. His fast recovery is wonderful
news to everyone, including future ferrets. And good news - Buddy is
starting to get his fur back!! While his foster mom volunteered to cover
his future expenses, there is still the matter of the $800 vet bill.

Please check out our raffle and help ferrets like buddy today!
