Hi all,
 
I have 7 ferrets and I am getting pretty tired of them.  (i know i probably
will get flamed for this, but I don't care) I have tried everything to get
2 of them to use their litter boxes, but they just are stubborn and won't.
I have carpet in their room and it is discolored and smells awful, and not
just where the box is being missed but all over.  They also have a carpet
perch that is discolored and smelly also.  I have thought of getting rid
of them several times, but always see their innocent faces and can't go
through with it, but I am getting fed up with them and tend to keep them
caged just to keep the carpet cleaned.
 
These ferrets are all neutered and descented.  I know my husband is furious
with the situation but won't say so, but I know he hates the smell.  I
shampoo the carpet at least once a month, but the carpet is ruined.
 
Because of this, I just don't enjoy my ferrets anymore like they deserve.
I go through the motions of feeding and watering them and keeping their
area clean, but the fun and enjoyeyment is gone.
