I asked my vet today about the correct dosage for pretreating with Benadryl
and she said the dosage they use for cats is 1mg/lb. And since we go by,
"When in doubt, treat like a cat", that was the dosage she recommended for
ferrets. If anyone has a dosage specifically for ferrets she would like to
know it.

BTW, I think you do a wonderful job moderating the list. We all appreciate
the time and effort you put into it. I'm sure many ferrets owe their good
health and happiness to this list!
