'Choppie will be going on a helicobacter routine again since a reoccurance
of that could explain some to her problems.

Heard an interesting thing today from Kathy Quesenberry of AMC; there's some
evidence starting to show up that helicobacter infections MIGHT predispose
ferrets to one form of lymphoma (as well as being the cause of many --
possibly most -- cases of reoccurent runs, ulcers, megasplenaly and some
other things). She's finding that when they get cases of repeated diarrhea
they tend to find that treating for helicobacter is the way to go. So, now
'Choppie is amoxi and pepto, with her flagyl on order, and her viokase
(which some folks have said has helped replace weight in such cases) on
order. We are going to be SO snubbed!

Steve's latest bad pun about Ashling who has foul verbage: depending on
which side you pick up Ashling on you get either a hiss-o-rectum, so sicne
both are essential to her identity she's a hiss-o-rectumy.
