David came up with an idea that has worked SO WONDERFULLY that it's even a
great dog gate for our 50lb mutt!

He went to the hardware department at our local "everything" store. He
bought four hooks that screw into the wall. People usually use them for
hanging keys. They are shaped like an L. The long end turns into a screw.
We then bought a piece of wood that is about three feet tall and 3/4 inches
thick. In the doorway of our kitchen, we screwed the hooks into the
doorframe. The first hooks are about four inches from the ground, the
second hooks are about four inches from the top of the gate. When we let
the ferrets out, we just slide the board in. When we put them up, we just
slide the board out!

It's works wonderfully!!!!!

I'm not sure if I explained this clearly, so if you want to know more or
have questions feel free to ask!
