Ok, so I had three ferrets (Spice Girl, Zeus and Taranis) when I moved to
Portland.  Then I bought a baby girl just before Christmas and named her
Giselle.
 
She got along fine with Taranis (who is incredibly laid back) but Zeus
and Spice Girl both wanted to kill her.  So they are in separate cages,
and I've been swapping them back and forth.  So this morning, Giselle was
out playing while I was cleaning the other cage.  I was holding Spice
Girl because she was awake, and Giselle decides that she is going to
investigate this open cage.  So she climbs in, goes upstairs, and pokes
her nose into the hammock where Zeus is sleeping.  Much to my surprise,
although there was a lot of butt and ear sniffing, there was not a big
fight!  No screaming involved!  (And since Giselle is deaf, she can
scream LOUDLY!)  So now I only have to persuade Spice Girl that she and
her little sister can get along.
 
So thanks to the fuzzies for helping my birthday get off to a great start!
