I had a bright idea to get my Frankie a pal last year. I thought he would
enjoy it, but he didn't really want a pal.

You will know he is playing too rough when one of them shrieks or makes a
pain type noise. That is when you definitely separate them.

Keep a close eye on them when they are out together until Sweetpea gets
bigger.

Ferrets do seem to play rough and do not know change their behavior when
dealing with a baby. Kind of like human kids they need to be taught not
to be rough. Teaching him that being mean, means time out, is good.

My guess is he is showing her who is boss and he may want you all to
himself.

My guys sleep together and get upset if one is in the cage and the other
is not. 80% of the time they sleep together. I wouldn't say they are
absolutely crazy about each other, but they do seem to enjoy each other
most of the time. Of course mine has a happy ending and so will yours.

I hope that helps.
