Hi Everyone,

My vet suggested that if you are traveling with fuzzies you should always
carry a couple of bottles of rubbing alcohol. If you encountered a traffic
accident and you can't move for a hour and your frozen water bottles have
thawed, your air conditioning doesn't work etc., etc.. You should always
have rubbing alcohol to pour over your fuzzies, it doesn't smell great, it
won't hurt them, they won't like it but at least you will aid in dropping
their body temperatures. If you pour rubbing alcohol on your hand it
immediately feels cooler when the air touches it, the same applies to the
fuzzbutts. I am sure it should only be used in extreme emergencies but it
may save your kids life. Any thoughts on this pro or con? I have never
been in that situation but I do keep two bottles in my trunk just in case.
