Vanessa,
It won't hurt your new fuzzies to receive 'extra' vaccines, unless they
react.  In this case, I would recommend giving a rabies shot, waiting 2
weeks, then giving the distemper.  That cuts down the chances of a resction.
Also plan on spending 20-30 minutes at the vet office after the vaccines are
given to watch for a reaction.
