I'm looking to replace my rather stained carpet with some type of
flooring that's more ferret resistent. I was at a home show on the
weekend, and spend some time asking how various floors do with puddles.
anyways, one guy replied that puddles just sit there. he was showing
off something he called fibre board, that he claims to be all the rage
in Europe.

I try searching for fibre board or whatever, and I think the type of
flooring he meant is really called "resilient flooring". vinyl flooring
that can come in sheets up to 15 feet, according to this article.

based on the article, I think I want to get polymer-resin-based, which
claims to be "free of chlorine, is recyclable, and is free of volatile
organic compounds."

just wondering if anybody has tried this type of flooring, experiences,
suggestions etc.

next is a question for Bibi: is there a list of vendors for the symposium
somewhere? just wanted to know if anybody will be selling foamy fries,
n-bone chews etc that I can pick up for my guys (hard to find in canada).

also for the zoo trip. my friend Ina and I have book seats on the bus,
but we have to leave early because we have a 6:30 flight. if anybody
wants our return seats, just let me know, and I'll ask the symposium
people to arrange it.

thanx.
