I stopped by my local pet store on my way to the liquor store tonight to
pick up a few supplies. They had a pair of some of the most friendly
ferrets playing in a cage by the front window. I was playing with these
guys for about 15 minutes when suddenly I realized "I'm playing with
ferrets!" What the hell? I live in Baltimore County Maryland and had to
drive about 1 1/2 to buy my ferrets in a neighboring county. For a long
time it has been illegal to sell or display ferrets in Balt Co. Turns out
that law was overturned 1 and 1/2 weeks ago. It also includes turtles
and other animals Balt Co. had classified as exotic. Does anybody else
have any info or know anything else about this now defunct law and how it
got overturned?
