Hi All, my 9 1/2 month old ferret Brionee has a problem. On her cheek,
about 2/4 of an inch beind where her mouth ends there is a lump. It
apeared a while ago and as soon as I saw it I took her to the vet. It
looks like a pimple and is red. The vet said that it didn't seem to be
bothering her and it didn't affect her eating so it was nothing. It hasn't
gotten bigger or redder, but it hasn't gone away. Recantly, she has gotten
extremly itchy, even for a ferret. I had thought that it was a skin cell
tumor, but the vet disagreed. I am out of ideas and I don't know what to
do. I want to get rid of the lump and stop her from itching so much, but
I am not sure how. Does anyone have any ideas? If this helps at all, she
is albino and a PVF ferret.
