We went from 28 ferrets to 42 ferrets in one week's time. So we are
being hit hard in Pa. I am amazed at the number of strays (meaning set
free in the wild) there are. I mean these ferrets were full of ticks
and lucky to be alive due to the heat we are experiences. One of them is
an unaltered female ferret.

According to the local shelters, they are being hit hard this year with
cats, dogs and all small animals.

The applications have tailed off, however, I do have a couple good ones
also. The week before I adopted 5 ferrets out and thought I was doing
great. The calm before the Ferret Storm!

Off to raise money for 14 Rabies and Distemper shots and the ADV tests!
